The Executive Committee (EC) is the governing body of the IT SCC. EC members are charged with providing overall policy and project direction to the SCC. As such they are expected to keep informed of overall SCC policies and projects and assist in maintaining the functions and priorities of the SCC. EC members are expected to participate in bi-weekly meetings and take a leadership role in at least one of the SCC’s projects or meetings. EC members are also expected to assist in communicating the SCC positions and activities to government partners and the full SCC membership.
The EC consists of ten elected members, representing seven companies and three trade associations. EC members are elected by the full SCC membership. Individuals who are willing to demonstrate leadership in assisting the full membership and government partners in improving and implementing the partnership model and have the corporate support required for these activities should consider running for EC membership.
